List Of Nigerian Female Armed Robbers Who Were Arrested By The Nigerian Police

Female armed robbers exist, and they live among us in our societies. Some of them are people's mothers, sisters, wives, and children. Unfortunately for some of them, they ended up being arrested by the Nigerian police after their robbery operations failed. Today, we will be looking at the two notorious female armed robbers than have been arrested by the police in the past. 1. Comfort Okon. This notorious female armed robber was arrested in June 2017 in Imo state after her gang's failed attempt at robbing the residents of the 7up depot in Orlu Local Government Area of the state.

The police got to the scene of the robbery and engaged the suspects in a gun battle. After the hours-long gun battle, one of the robbers was killed while the gang leader was arrested. Surprisingly, the gang leader turned out to be a woman, Comfort Okon.

She and her gang members specialized in robbing people in Lagos traffic, terrorising areas like Mushin, Ikotun and Igando. Yetunde and her gang were arrested by the anti crime patrol team from the Mushin police station led by Inspector Atigi Agisa.
