[OPINION] Nabbing Of 4 Suspected Kidnappers: OPC Did The Right Thing By Not Allowing Angry Mob Rule

The successful nabbing of these kidnappers sparked mixed reactions online, with some acknowledge the efforts of Gani Adams in securing South West, Nigeria from criminals, others opined that they should resort to jungle justice instead of speaking about their success online.

Kudos to OPC for not succumbing to any form of pressure to allow the mob to rule. When the mob rule, crime prevail. Gani Adam must have understood that security is everyone's business but taking another man's life is illegal when the court of law hasn't passed its judgment. Jungle justice is a law for the jungle and it has no place in our society. Although, these men are apprehended with sophisticated weapons a call for jungle justice would imply that people took laws into their own hands which is also a criminal offence.
