We Killed The Former Governor's Father After Collecting The 10 Million Naira Ransom" - Suspect
The death of the late father of Plateau State's former Governor has been a painful one for the relations of the former Governor named Joshua Dariye.
In recent reports, those who were involved in the death of he patriarch of the former Governor were paraded by men of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF). During the parade, one of the suspects said, "we killed the former Governor's father after collecting the ten (10) million naira ransom."
Frank Mba, an Officer of the Nigerian Police Force who interviewed these suspects asked why the innocent old man was killed. In response to this, one of the suspects said the man who ordered them to kidnap him told them that the former Governor did not create jobs for the youths of the state. This was the basis of the kidnap which eventually led to the death of Pa Defwan Dariye.
Frank Mba, the Public Relations Officer, said that people should be very careful because those who were caught made it clear that they have insiders who feed them with the necessary information before their mission is carried out.
